This retreat combines an immersion in simplistic living—the true essence of Greek island culture—with daily embodiment and movement practices.
You can think of this as modern yoga retreat meets visiting your friend in her family’s village. It’s for those who are seeking an alternative to touristic travel and cookie-cutter retreat experiences. To preserve that depth and sense of immersion, the group is intentionally kept small.
Greek Island Living
Together we’ll explore the island through the eyes and hearts of the locals, connecting with the people, the land, and each other.
The natural environment and rhythm of island life invites us to slow down and inquire inward, a process that will be supported by our yoga practice and other forms of embodied connection. These complementary experiences create the space to step out of our usual patterns and make room for new clarity, inspiration, and possibility.
Our Home in Nenita
Eona Chios is a restored, one hundred year old home in the seaside village of Nenita, located on the southern part of the island—also known as the Mastic Villages.
Through most of the year, Eona is home to an artist residency program (Descover Artists). The space itself invites exploration and curiosity. The house is about a 25 minute walk to the beach and a short distance to a grocery store and the local square (which has a coffee shop and taverna serving delicious local food).
Our Six Days Together

Chios is a short, 40 minute flight from Athens International Airport. Ferries also run daily from Athens (although its a long trip!) and less frequently from a small selection of other islands.
Once in Chios, Eona is a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport.
Air travel and transportation to the house are not included in the retreat cost, however, we are happy to help arrange ride sharing from the airport in Chios.

This retreat is intended to hold the balance between structure and flow. Each day will be anchored with a morning movement practice and a group meal at 3pm (when Greeks eat their main meal). Most days will include beach early in the day. In the afternoons, we will honor the local tradition of rest. There will be a few organized events intended to connect with Chiotiki culture sprinkled throughout the week. Everyone is of course encouraged to make the most of their experience, so if that means venturing outside of the retreat structure, by all means - go for it!

Transportation to all “retreat activities” - i.e. beach days and organized group events will be provided and is included in the cost of the retreat. If you’d like the option to explore on your own (for example, during the afternoon rest time) we recommend renting a car. We will also provide a list of trusted taxi drivers.

Our group excursions will include a sailing day, a traditional music experience with local artists, and a guided agro-tourism experience centered around the island’s mastic tradition.

Large Twin Room
Double Occupancy - Shared Bathroom: Spacious shared rooms with twin beds. These rooms are designed to be shared and are available as double occupancy only.

Small Twin Room - WAITLIST ONLY
Single Occupancy - Shared Bathroom: A cozy private room for guests who prefer their own space.
Booking with a friend? A limited shared-room option may be available for guests booking together. This option is subject to availability and strictly first come first serve.

A 600 euro non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot.
Final payment must be provided 2 months before the retreat start date. If we don’t receive your final payment by the requested date, your spot will be made available for another person to book. In this case, we will not refund your deposit.
As a first-time retreat, we reserve the right to cancel the retreat up to 2 months prior to the retreat date (by July 1, 2026) in event that we do not meet minimum capacity for bookings. In this case, your deposit will be returned to you.
